How to get to Porto Ottiolu
Porto Ottiolu lies on Sardinia’s north-east coast, between Budoni and San Teodoro. The easiest way in is Olbia airport or Olbia ferry port: both are about 30–35 km away, half an hour by car on the SS125.

By plane
Olbia Costa Smeralda is the nearest airport: about 30 km, half an hour by car, with flights all year from Italy and, in summer, from many European cities.
Alternatives: Alghero (about 170 km, 2 hours) and Cagliari (about 250 km, 3 hours).
By ferry
Ferries arrive in Olbia (Isola Bianca port, about 35 km, 35–40 minutes) and Golfo Aranci (about 50 km, 50 minutes) from Civitavecchia, Livorno, Genoa and Piombino. With your own car, drive off and take the SS125 south.
By car
From Olbia follow the SS125 towards San Teodoro and Budoni and exit for Porto Ottiolu. From Cagliari take the SS131, then the SS131 DCN towards Olbia and exit at Budoni. There is a large car park by the marina; Casa Rosanna has a free private parking space.
By bus
ARST regional buses link Olbia with Budoni and the coastal villages; the stop is a few steps from Casa Rosanna. ASPO city buses run from the airport to Olbia centre. Timetables change between winter and summer: always check the official ARST website.
Transfers and taxis
From Olbia airport a taxi or private transfer takes about 35 minutes. Book ahead, especially in July and August. Send us your arrival dates and we will suggest the services our guests use.
Getting around
From Casa Rosanna the beach, marina, restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and the house has two bicycles. In summer a free bus links the beaches of Budoni. For day trips (Tavolara, Costa Smeralda, La Maddalena) a car is handy.
